Tekla Structures Detailer

Job Description

We are working with a client based in Derby who is looking for an experienced Tekla Structures Designer to join their team on a contract basis.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural steelwork and a minimum of 5 years’ experience using Tekla Structures, ideally gained working for a major UK steelwork contractor.

This opportunity is suited to someone with a solid understanding of structural steelwork detailing and design, who can produce accurate models and drawings using Tekla Structures.

Key Requirements

Minimum of 5 years’ experience using Tekla Structures.

Strong background in structural steelwork.

*

Previous experience working for a major UK steelwork contractor, such as Billington, Severfield or Caunton.

Experience producing structural steelwork models and drawings using Tekla Structures.

*

Good understanding of structural steelwork detailing and design processes.

*

Ability to work independently and deliver accurate work to project deadlines.

Experience Not Suitable

*

Candidates whose experience is primarily in secondary steelwork.

*

Candidates with backgrounds in reinforced concrete (RC), rebar or reinforcement detailing.

*

Candidates without substantial structural steelwork experience
