Key Responsibilities

• Install and terminate various types of telecommunications cabling, including fibre optic and copper.
• Mount and connect telecommunications equipment such as routers, switches, and base stations.
• Perform rigorous testing and commissioning of installed systems to ensure performance standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair faults in telecommunications networks and equipment.
• Adhere to strict health and safety protocols during all installation activities.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Telecommunications Installation Engineer or similar field.
• Proficiency with fibre optic splicing and testing equipment.
• Understanding of telecommunications principles and network infrastructure.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and installation plans.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to work flexible hours.
