Telecommunications Installation Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Telecommunications Installation Engineer to join their team in Edinburgh, Scotland, UK . This role involves the installation, configuration, and maintenance of telecommunication systems, including networking hardware, cabling, and associated equipment, at client premises. You will be responsible for ensuring that communication networks are set up efficiently and function reliably, meeting the specific needs of each customer. Key Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test telecommunications cabling (e.g., fiber optic, Ethernet).
• Mount and connect communication equipment, including routers, switches, and modems.
• Configure network devices and systems according to project specifications and client requirements.
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting to resolve installation-related issues.
• Ensure all installations meet industry standards and company quality benchmarks.

Requirements
