Telecommunications Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Telecommunications Project Manager to lead key projects from initiation to completion in Leeds . This role is integral to the successful delivery of complex telecom infrastructure and service deployments. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of telecom projects , including scope definition, resource allocation, scheduling, and budget management.
• Develop detailed project plans, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate and manage project teams, including engineers, technicians, and external contractors.
• Ensure clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and team members.
• Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and report on project status regularly.
• Manage project scope changes effectively and ensure adherence to quality assurance standards.

Requirements

• Proven track record of successful project management in the telecommunications industry , with at least 5 years of experience.
• Strong understanding of telecom technologies, network infrastructure, and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Prince2).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
• Ability to manage budgets effectively and control project costs.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
