Telecommunications Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Telecommunications Project Manager to lead key initiatives within their growing organisation in Leeds . You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of complex telecom projects, from planning and execution through to completion and handover. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will coordinate diverse teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure the successful deployment of innovative telecommunications solutions across various business units.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and close telecommunications projects, defining scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Manage project risks, issues, and changes, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
• Coordinate and lead project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring clear communication channels.
• Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
• Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and align with client requirements and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience as a Project Manager, specifically within the telecoms or IT infrastructure sectors.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
• Experience in managing budgets and resources effectively for large-scale projects.
• Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly advantageous.
