Telecommunications Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Telecommunications Project Manager to lead critical projects within their network infrastructure division in Manchester . You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of telecommunications projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This hybrid role offers a blend of office-based and remote working, providing flexibility while maintaining team collaboration. You will manage project lifecycles from initiation to closure, coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives and drive business growth in the competitive telecoms market.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects, ensuring progress against milestones.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans as needed.
• Liaise with stakeholders, including technical teams, sales, and external partners, to ensure alignment and clear communication.
• Oversee the procurement of necessary equipment and services, managing vendor relationships effectively.
• Conduct project reviews and provide regular status reports to senior management.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager , specifically within the telecommunications industry.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure, telecommunications technologies, and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
