Our client is seeking a strategic Telecoms Business Analyst to join their team, operating a hybrid model with a base in Oxford . This role is crucial for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions within the rapidly evolving telecommunications industry. You will be responsible for eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, translating them into functional specifications for IT and network projects. Your insights will drive the development of new services and the optimization of existing ones, ensuring our client remains competitive.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for new telecom products and services.
- Document business processes, functional requirements, and user stories using standard methodologies.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit detailed information and achieve consensus.
- Work closely with technical teams (developers, architects, testers) to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
- Analyze data and identify trends to support business decision-making and strategy development.
- Support testing efforts by developing test cases and validating solutions against requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst , preferably within the telecommunications sector.
- Strong understanding of business analysis tools and techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in documenting requirements, use cases, and process flows.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
