Telecoms Field Operations Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Telecoms Field Operations Supervisor to lead their field service team in the Oxford area. This role is critical for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of field operations, including installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications infrastructure. You will be responsible for supervising a team of field technicians, managing daily operations, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and maintaining high levels of service quality. This position requires strong leadership and on-the-ground operational management.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of a team of telecoms field technicians.
• Ensure all field operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Manage work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor team performance to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
• Provide technical guidance and support to the field team, resolving issues as they arise.
• Conduct site visits to assess work quality, provide feedback, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within telecoms field operations.
• Solid understanding of telecommunications network infrastructure, installation, and maintenance procedures.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to field operations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
