Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and maintain a range of telecommunications equipment, including routers, switches, and fiber optic systems.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
• Diagnose and resolve technical faults, providing timely and effective repairs in the field.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies during site visits.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers, ensuring a high level of service.
• Accurately document all work performed, including service reports and inventory management.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Field Service Engineer or similar technical role within the telecoms industry.
• Strong understanding of copper and fiber optic cabling, network installation, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and test equipment relevant to telecommunications systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a professional demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and manage a demanding schedule across various locations.
• A full, clean UK driving license is essential for site visits.
