About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled and dedicated Telecoms Field Service Technician to join their operational team based in Coventry . In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications equipment at customer sites. Your expertise will ensure seamless connectivity and service delivery, playing a crucial part in customer satisfaction and the operational efficiency of our network. This position requires a proactive approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently across various locations within the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test telecommunications equipment, including routers, modems, and fiber optic cabling.
• Diagnose and repair faults in customer premises equipment and network connections.
• Perform routine maintenance checks to prevent service disruptions.
• Provide excellent customer service and technical support on-site.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company procedures during all field operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Telecoms Technician or in a similar field service role.
• Strong understanding of telecommunications systems and network troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A full UK driving license and a willingness to travel within the Coventry area.
