Telecoms Infrastructure Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Telecoms Infrastructure Manager to oversee and direct the operations of their critical network infrastructure in Leeds . This leadership role involves managing a team of engineers and technicians responsible for the installation, maintenance, and performance of the company's telecommunications network. You will play a key role in strategic planning, budget management, and ensuring the reliable delivery of services to customers. This is an on-site position requiring strong leadership and technical acumen.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of network engineers and technicians, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Oversee the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's telecommunications infrastructure .
• Develop and manage the annual budget for network operations, including capital expenditures and operational costs.
• Ensure network security, reliability, and performance meet or exceed industry standards and service level agreements .
• Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality service delivery.
• Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures, including incident management and change control.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a management or supervisory role within the telecoms sector .
• Strong understanding of network technologies, including IP, fibre optics, and wireless communication systems.
• Experience with project management and infrastructure deployment methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to develop and manage departmental budgets effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience.
