About the Role

This role is focused on the physical installation and setup of telecommunications infrastructure, including cabling, equipment, and associated systems, at various client sites. You will be responsible for ensuring that all installations meet rigorous technical specifications and safety standards. Key Responsibilities

• Install and commission telecommunications hardware, including routers, switches, and servers, as per design specifications.
• Lay, connect, and test structured cabling systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any installation-related issues, performing necessary adjustments and repairs.
• Work closely with project managers and site supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of installations.
• Conduct pre-installation site checks and post-installation testing and verification.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a telecoms installation or related technical role is essential.
• Familiarity with telecommunications cabling standards, network hardware, and installation best practices.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools relevant to installation work.
