About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and organized Telecoms Network Administrator to manage and maintain their network infrastructure, operating in a fully remote capacity. This role is crucial for ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our communication systems. You will be responsible for system configuration, performance monitoring, and user support, playing a vital role in keeping our operations seamless from a remote location.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.
• Monitor network performance and security, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls to ensure data security.
• Perform regular backups and implement disaster recovery plans.
• Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting network-related problems.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role within the telecoms sector.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
• Experience with network hardware from major vendors and network monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with network security best practices and firewall management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
