Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage core network components, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Perform network performance tuning and optimisation to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Conduct in-depth troubleshooting of complex network issues and provide rapid resolution.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams on network upgrades and new service deployments.
• Develop and maintain detailed network documentation, diagrams, and configuration standards.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical network incidents.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a strong emphasis on telecoms core networks .
• Expertise in routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and IS-IS, and switching technologies.
• Hands-on experience with network equipment from major vendors (e.g., Cisco, Juniper).
• Solid understanding of MPLS, VPNs, and network security best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
