About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Telecoms Network Engineer to join their dynamic team in Leicester . Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage telecommunications networks , including LAN, WAN, and wireless technologies.

• Perform regular network maintenance , including upgrades, patching, and security enhancements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, providing timely and effective solutions to minimize disruption.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role within the telecoms industry.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
• Hands-on experience with network hardware from major vendors (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Nokia).
• Familiarity with network security principles and best practices.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are highly desirable.
