Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy network solutions, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure high availability.
• Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and patches on network devices and systems.
• Troubleshoot network problems, performing root cause analysis and implementing effective solutions.
• Collaborate with other technical teams to integrate new services and technologies into the network.
• Maintain accurate network documentation, including diagrams and configuration details.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer within the telecommunications industry.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF), VLANs, and VPNs.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and network security principles.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model , with flexibility for both remote and on-site work in the Nottingham area.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
