About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the health and performance of the telecommunications network using sophisticated monitoring tools.
• Respond promptly to network incidents and alarms, performing diagnostics and implementing corrective actions.
• Execute planned network maintenance activities, upgrades, and configuration changes.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to troubleshoot complex network issues and implement permanent solutions.
• Ensure network security policies and procedures are adhered to in all operational activities.
• Maintain accurate operational documentation, including network diagrams and incident logs.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Network Operations Engineer or similar role within the telecoms industry .
• Solid understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and telecommunications infrastructure.
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SNMP, NetFlow).
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA or equivalent are advantageous.
