About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Telecoms Network Operations Manager to lead their network operations center in Manchester . Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of network operations specialists, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Oversee the monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all aspects of the company's telecommunications infrastructure.
• Develop and implement strategies for network capacity planning, performance optimization, and disaster recovery.
• Ensure adherence to security policies and industry best practices to protect network integrity.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee the procurement and implementation of new network technologies.
• Establish and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for network operations, driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Substantial experience in telecom network operations , with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage technical teams.
• In-depth knowledge of network architecture, protocols, and telecommunications technologies.
• Experience with network monitoring tools, incident management systems, and ITIL best practices.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
