About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Telecoms Network Performance Analyst to join their fully remote team. This role is critical for ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency of their extensive telecommunications network. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting network data to identify trends, diagnose issues, and recommend improvements. The ideal candidate thrives on data-driven problem-solving and is adept at translating complex performance metrics into actionable insights, working effectively within a globally distributed team structure.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance metrics (latency, throughput, jitter, packet loss) across all network segments.
• Analyze network traffic patterns and identify potential bottlenecks or performance degradation.
• Develop and maintain performance dashboards and reports for key stakeholders.
• Conduct root cause analysis for network performance incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with network engineering and operations teams to implement performance tuning and optimization strategies.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in network performance management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of experience in network performance analysis or a related role within the telecommunications industry.
• Proficiency with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios) and performance analysis software.
• Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS) and network architecture.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data visualization skills.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly to technical and non-technical audiences in a remote setting.
