About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Telecoms Network Performance Analyst to join their team in Bristol . This role focuses on monitoring, analysing, and optimising the performance of our telecommunications network to ensure optimal speed, reliability, and user experience. You will be responsible for identifying performance bottlenecks, recommending improvements, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our network services. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance metrics, identifying trends, anomalies, and potential issues.
• Analyse network traffic patterns and system utilisation to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement performance tuning strategies for various network elements.
• Create regular performance reports and dashboards for management and technical teams.
• Troubleshoot network performance problems and collaborate with engineering teams to implement solutions.
• Contribute to capacity planning by analysing performance data and forecasting future requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of experience in network performance analysis or a related role.
• Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and network performance metrics.
• Proficiency with network monitoring and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to interpret complex data sets and present findings clearly.
