About the Role

You will design, implement, and manage robust security solutions, monitor network activity for potential breaches, and respond swiftly to security incidents. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network security infrastructure, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and SIEM systems.
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing.
• Monitor network traffic and security alerts to detect and respond to potential threats and incidents.
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures for the telecommunications network.
• Investigate security breaches, perform forensic analysis, and implement remediation strategies.
• Stay abreast of the latest security threats, trends, and technologies to ensure continuous improvement of security posture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Network Security Engineer within a telecom environment.
• In-depth knowledge of network security principles, protocols, and technologies.
• Hands-on experience with security tools and platforms, such as firewall management, intrusion detection systems, and SIEM solutions.
• Strong understanding of threat modeling and risk assessment methodologies.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote setting, often under pressure.
