About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Telecoms Project Manager to lead and deliver critical telecommunications projects remotely. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, and closure. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of telecommunications technologies and project management methodologies. Working entirely remotely, you will collaborate with distributed teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of telecom projects , defining scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders at all levels.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and implement contingency plans.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and project best practices.
Requirements
- Proven track record as a Project Manager, with specific experience in the telecommunications sector.
- Solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing remote teams and complex projects.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
- PMP or Prince2 certification is highly desirable.
