About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and organised Telecoms Project Manager to lead diverse projects from initiation to completion in Edinburgh . You will be responsible for the successful delivery of telecommunications infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a blend of technical understanding of the telecoms sector and robust project management skills. You will manage project teams, stakeholders, and resources, driving projects forward in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of telecoms projects , including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
- Oversee project execution, track progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate effective communication among project team members, vendors, and clients.
- Ensure projects comply with industry standards, quality requirements, and regulatory obligations in the UK.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager , preferably within the telecommunications industry.
- Demonstrable success in delivering complex projects on time and within budget constraints.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with telecoms technologies and infrastructure deployment processes.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification is advantageous.
