Telecoms Project Manager

About the Role

Our client seeks a proactive and experienced Telecoms Project Manager to lead critical projects from inception to completion within their expanding telecoms division in Manchester . This role requires a blend of technical understanding, leadership acumen, and exceptional organizational skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will manage cross-functional teams, liaise with stakeholders, and oversee all aspects of project execution in the dynamic Greater Manchester region. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and finalize telecom projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Effectively communicate project progress, risks, and issues to all stakeholders.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Conduct project post-mortems and create lessons learned reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

Requirements

• Proven working experience in project management within the telecoms sector.
• Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.
• Strong working knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
• Experience managing budgets and risk assessment for complex projects in Manchester .
