About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Telecoms Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of exciting projects in Edinburgh and surrounding areas. This hybrid role requires a blend of on-site project management and remote coordination, ensuring successful delivery of telecommunications infrastructure development and deployment. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects on time and within budget, managing stakeholder relationships, and leading cross-functional teams. This is a critical role for an organized and forward-thinking professional in the dynamic telecoms industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of telecommunications projects, from initiation to closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
• Track project progress and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager , ideally within the telecoms sector.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is a significant advantage.
