About the Role
Our client is looking for an accomplished and strategic Telecoms Project Manager to lead key initiatives within their expanding operations in Edinburgh . This senior role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of telecommunications projects, from initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, and closure. You will be responsible for managing project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery of complex network deployments and system upgrades. The ideal candidate is a natural leader with exceptional organizational and communication skills, adept at managing stakeholders and driving projects to completion in a challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business goals.
- Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
- Manage project execution, closely monitoring progress, risks, and issues.
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring effective collaboration.
- Communicate project status, updates, and key decisions to stakeholders at all levels.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven track record of successfully managing telecommunications projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with project management software and tools.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
