About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and organized Telecoms Project Manager to lead key initiatives from their Portsmouth office. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing complex telecoms projects , ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a blend of technical understanding, strong leadership, and excellent stakeholder management skills to navigate the fast-paced telecommunications landscape. You will be pivotal in driving successful project outcomes and contributing to the strategic growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of telecoms projects , from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies and ensuring timely resolution.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and operations, to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Communicate project status, progress, and challenges effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies throughout project execution.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in the telecommunications industry .
• Demonstrable success in managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in project management software tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
