About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and organized Telecoms Project Manager to lead a variety of exciting projects in the Cambridge area. This role demands strong leadership, meticulous planning, and effective execution to ensure the successful delivery of telecommunications infrastructure projects on time and within budget. You will be responsible for managing project scope, resources, timelines, and stakeholder communications, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven history of managing complex projects within the telecoms industry and a passion for driving successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring successful delivery of telecoms projects.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
• Coordinate and lead project teams, including engineers, technicians, and external contractors.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
• Communicate project status, updates, and key decisions to stakeholders at all levels.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager , with a significant portion in the telecoms sector.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with project management software tools.
• Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
