Telecoms Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an organised and proactive Telecoms Project Manager to oversee a variety of telecommunications infrastructure projects in the Sunderland and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of projects, from initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, and closure. This role requires a strong leader who can effectively manage timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. You will work closely with engineering teams, vendors, and clients to achieve project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Manage and coordinate project teams, ensuring tasks are assigned and completed on schedule.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate communication between project teams, clients, and other departments.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager , ideally within the telecommunications industry.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
