Telecoms Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an organised and proactive Telecoms Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of network infrastructure projects in the Sunderland area. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills to manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources effectively. You will be a key liaison between technical teams, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and successful project outcomes. This position offers a dynamic work environment within the thriving technology sector of Tyne and Wear, contributing to critical infrastructure development in Sunderland .

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of telecom projects, from initiation to closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget.
• Coordinate and lead project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Communicate project progress, updates, and challenges to stakeholders regularly.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and contractual obligations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in project management , specifically within the telecoms or IT infrastructure sector.
• Demonstrated success in managing budgets, timelines, and resources for complex projects.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
