Telecoms Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an organized and experienced Telecoms Project Manager to lead diverse projects within their expanding network operations in the Sheffield area. You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and successful delivery of telecommunications projects, from initiation through to completion. This role requires strong leadership skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, timelines, and budgets effectively. You will play a vital part in driving the deployment of new infrastructure and services, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards in the telecoms sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire project lifecycle, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against these milestones.
• Coordinate and manage project resources, including internal teams and external vendors.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, proactively seeking solutions.
• Communicate project status, updates, and potential roadblocks to all stakeholders effectively.
• Ensure projects adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager , with a significant portion in the telecoms or related technology industry.
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Experience with project management software and tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.
• Prince2 or PMP certification is a strong advantage.
