Telecoms Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Telecoms Project Manager to lead key initiatives within their dynamic organization, based in Sheffield . This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of successfully managing telecommunications projects from initiation to completion. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This involves acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a deep understanding of the telecommunications landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Coordinate and manage project team members, vendors, and contractors to ensure project milestones are met.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, developing mitigation strategies as needed.
• Ensure project deliverables are on time, within scope, and meet quality standards, conducting post-project evaluations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management , with a significant portion focused on the telecommunications industry .
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in managing budgets and resources effectively within project constraints.
