About the Role

Our client is looking for an accomplished Telecoms Project Manager to lead critical projects within their organization, based in Derby . This role involves overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of telecommunications infrastructure projects from initiation to completion. You will manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of project management methodologies, and comprehensive knowledge of the telecommunications industry. You will play a pivotal role in driving successful project outcomes and contributing to the strategic growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of telecommunications projects, from planning to deployment and closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate and lead project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring clear communication.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular project updates.
• Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager , with a strong background in telecommunications projects.
• Proficiency in project management software and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Prince2).
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience managing budgets and P&L for projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP or Prince2 are highly desirable.
