Telecoms Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organised and experienced Telecoms Project Manager to oversee a variety of telecommunications deployment projects in Sheffield . This role demands strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of telecommunications infrastructure, and the ability to manage projects from initiation to successful completion. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalising projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This is a key position within our operations team, ensuring the efficient delivery of essential communication services.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor telecommunications projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timeline.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties for the flawless execution of projects.
• Develop detailed project plans, including defining objectives, milestones, and resource requirements.
• Manage project risks, issues, and changes effectively, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
• Communicate project progress, updates, and challenges to stakeholders, including senior management and clients.
• Ensure that all project documentation is maintained and finalised upon project completion.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager , specifically within the telecommunications industry.
• Solid understanding of telecommunications technologies, infrastructure, and deployment methodologies.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Excellent organisational skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
