About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive and experienced Telecoms Project Manager to lead critical infrastructure projects in Bradford . This hybrid role allows for a blend of on-site engagement and remote flexibility. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of telecom projects, from initiation and planning through to execution and closure. Success in this role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of project management methodologies within the telecommunications industry. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Manage project execution, track progress, and proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues.
- Coordinate and lead project teams, including engineers, technicians, and external vendors.
- Ensure effective communication and reporting to all project stakeholders, providing regular status updates.
- Oversee the successful deployment and commissioning of telecommunications infrastructure.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager , specifically within the telecommunications sector.
- Demonstrable success in managing multiple concurrent projects from inception to completion.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira).
- Strong understanding of network deployment processes, fibre optics, and wireless technologies.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is highly desirable.
