Telecoms Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished Telecoms Project Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of projects within their expanding operations in Glasgow . This role is critical in ensuring the successful delivery of telecommunications infrastructure and service deployment projects, from initiation to completion. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects, managing budgets, timelines, resources, and stakeholders effectively. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills, with a proven ability to navigate the complexities of the telecommunications sector to achieve project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage telecommunications projects, defining project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Coordinate and oversee the work of internal teams, external vendors, and contractors to ensure timely project execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Communicate project status, updates, and performance to stakeholders, including senior management.
• Ensure projects are delivered within scope, on time, and within budget, meeting quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager , with a significant track record in the telecommunications industry.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile).
• Excellent leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proficiency in project management software tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
