About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Telecoms Sales Manager to lead their B2B sales efforts in Glasgow . You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth within the telecommunications sector, focusing on business clients. This role requires a deep understanding of the telecom market, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in exceeding sales targets. You will manage a team of sales professionals, nurture key client relationships, and identify new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue growth targets in the telecoms market .
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of B2B sales executives, ensuring high performance and professional development.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with corporate clients, building strong, long-term relationships.
- Oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and proposal development to negotiation and closing deals.
- Analyse sales data and market trends to refine sales strategies and identify competitive advantages.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to ensure alignment of sales efforts with market needs and company offerings.
Requirements
- Proven experience (5+ years) in B2B sales within the telecommunications industry, with at least 2 years in a management role.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
- Strong understanding of telecommunications products, services, and industry trends.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
