About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Telecoms Site Acquisition Specialist to manage the process of identifying, securing, and negotiating suitable locations for telecoms infrastructure in and around Derby . This role is crucial for network expansion projects, involving liaising with property owners, negotiating lease agreements, and managing the permitting process. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, a thorough understanding of property law and local planning regulations, and a keen eye for detail to ensure the smooth progression of site acquisition activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify potential new cell sites and infrastructure locations based on network deployment plans.
• Conduct site feasibility studies, including zoning, environmental, and utility reviews.
• Negotiate lease agreements and terms with property owners, ensuring favourable conditions for the company.
• Prepare and submit applications for necessary permits and approvals from local planning authorities.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including property owners, legal counsel, and local government officials.
• Maintain accurate records of all site acquisition activities, agreements, and project status in the company database.

Requirements

• Proven experience in site acquisition, preferably within the telecoms or real estate industry.
• Strong understanding of lease negotiations, property rights, and local planning and zoning regulations.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with site acquisition databases and standard office software.
• Familiarity with telecoms infrastructure requirements is a plus.
