About the Role
Our client is looking for a motivated Telecoms Site Acquisition Specialist to join their team in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire . This role is essential for identifying, securing, and negotiating suitable locations for the deployment of telecommunications infrastructure, including mobile masts and fibre optic network routes. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end site acquisition process, working with landowners, local authorities, and internal teams to ensure projects progress efficiently and compliantly. This position offers a dynamic working experience within the telecommunications sector, with a blend of office-based planning and on-site visits in a hybrid model.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify potential new sites for telecommunications infrastructure, conducting feasibility studies and site assessments.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with property owners and leaseholders to secure sites for network deployment.
- Manage the application process for planning permissions and regulatory approvals.
- Liaise with internal engineering, legal, and project management teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Prepare and present site acquisition proposals and status reports to senior management.
- Maintain accurate records of all site agreements, negotiations, and project milestones.
- Resolve any land-related issues or disputes that may arise during the site acquisition process.
Requirements
- Proven experience in site acquisition , ideally within the telecoms or property sector.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Understanding of planning laws and regulations related to property development and telecommunications infrastructure.
- Excellent research and analytical abilities to assess site suitability and potential risks.
- Proficiency in contract management and lease negotiation.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
