About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Telecoms Solutions Architect to join their team based in Newcastle upon Tyne . This role is critical in shaping the future of our client's telecommunications offerings by designing innovative and scalable solutions that meet complex business and customer needs. You will be instrumental in architecting next-generation networks and services, working at the forefront of technological advancement in the industry. This is an office-based position that thrives on close collaboration and direct engagement with stakeholders to deliver robust, future-proof telecommunications solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-level and detailed technical designs for telecom solutions , ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical strategies.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product management teams to understand customer requirements and translate them into viable technical proposals.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, platforms, and vendor solutions to enhance service offerings.
- Create and maintain comprehensive solution documentation, including architecture diagrams, integration plans, and cost models.
- Provide expert technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle, from initial design to implementation and handover.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in telecommunications architecture and design, with a deep understanding of various network technologies (e.g., MPLS, SDN, NFV, 5G).
- Proven ability to design complex, end-to-end solutions for enterprise and service provider customers.
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms and their application in telecommunications.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., TOGAF) are highly desirable.
