About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative Telecoms Solutions Architect to lead the design and evolution of their telecommunications solutions in Birmingham . This senior position requires a strategic thinker who can translate business needs into robust, scalable, and cost-effective technical architectures. Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-level and detailed technical designs for new telecom solutions , ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical standards.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and platforms to enhance service offerings and improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with sales, product management, and engineering teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Provide expert technical guidance and support during the pre-sales and implementation phases of projects.
• Create comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and implementation plans.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in the telecommunications sector.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• 10+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry, with at least 5 years in a solutions architect or senior technical design role.
• Deep understanding of 5G, LTE, VoIP, cloud networking, and associated protocols.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing complex, large-scale telecommunications systems.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of delivering innovative solutions.
