About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary Telecoms Solutions Architect to join their innovative team in Edinburgh . This senior role is responsible for designing cutting-edge, scalable, and resilient telecommunications solutions that meet complex business requirements. You will work closely with sales, engineering, and product teams to develop technical strategies, define architectures, and ensure the successful implementation of our client's offerings. The ideal candidate has a deep technical understanding of the telecoms landscape and a proven ability to translate client needs into practical, forward-thinking technical blueprints.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of comprehensive telecoms solutions, encompassing network, cloud, and application architectures.
• Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements, understand technical challenges, and propose optimal solutions.
• Create high-level and detailed technical designs, including diagrams, specifications, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and service enhancement.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and can be effectively implemented.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the solution lifecycle, from pre-sales to post-implementation.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Solutions Architect or similar technical design role within the telecoms industry.
• In-depth knowledge of networking, mobile technologies (4G/5G), VoIP, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and data centre solutions.
• Proven ability to design complex, end-to-end technical solutions for enterprise clients.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, cloud architect certifications) are highly advantageous.
