The Temporary IT Operations Technician role, based in the West End, offers a daily rate of £200.00 to £250.00 for an immediate three-month assignment. Working onsite five days per week, you will join a busy IT team providing daily technical support while assisting business-critical initiatives. Key responsibilities include supporting laptop, iPad, and company phone upgrade programmes, alongside general user engagement. Candidates must be immediately available and work from the office full-time. This position suits a hands-on technician ready to contribute to both routine operations and specific project deliverables within a central London head office. Temporary IT Operations Technician £200 - £250 per day 5 days office based West End Supporting a busy IT team, you will provide day-to-day IT support while assisting with a range of business-critical projects. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Organise and provide day-to-day IT support across the business
- Support the Laptop Upgrade Programme
- Support the iPad Upgrade Programme
- Support the Company Phone Upgrade Project
- Provide user engagement and migration support
- Conduct laptop audits and condition assessments
- Assist with mobile device disposal reviewsSupport Asset Management inventory reviews and clearance
- Assist with the IT equipment recycling project
- Provide meeting and event IT support where required
- Ensure professional and timely communication with end users
- Deliver IT security and end-user IT service training where required
- Administer user accounts, permissions and access within relevant systems
- Support local infrastructure components alongside second-level support teams
- Identify opportunities to improve IT services, processes and tools
Required Skills andamp; Experience:
- Previous experience providing hands-on IT support
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
