Test Electrical Engineer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous and skilled Test Electrical Engineer to join their product development team in Oxford . This role is essential for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our client's electrical products through rigorous testing and validation. You will be responsible for designing test procedures, developing test fixtures, and executing comprehensive tests on various electrical components and systems. This hands-on position offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the success of innovative products within a dedicated team environment, working closely with design engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement test plans and procedures for electrical components and systems.
• Build and maintain automated test benches and custom test fixtures.
• Conduct functional, performance, and environmental testing of electrical products.
• Analyze test data, identify failure modes, and document results thoroughly.
• Collaborate with design engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues found during testing.
• Ensure test equipment is calibrated and maintained to high standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in designing and executing electrical test procedures.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and scripting languages.
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators, and other test equipment.
• Strong understanding of analog and digital circuits.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
