About the Role
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Trade Marketing Executive to join their dynamic team in Bradford . This hybrid role will focus on developing and executing impactful in-store marketing strategies and promotional activities designed to boost sales and brand presence within the competitive FMCG landscape. You will work closely with the sales team, key retailers, and brand managers to ensure that our client's products stand out on the shelves and capture consumer attention. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective trade marketing plans and promotional activities in collaboration with the sales team and key retail partners for FMCG products .
- Create compelling point-of-sale (POS) materials, displays, and merchandising solutions to enhance brand visibility in retail environments.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for in-store growth and promotional effectiveness.
- Manage the budget for trade marketing activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximizing return on investment.
- Liaise with agencies and suppliers to produce marketing collateral and ensure timely delivery to retail outlets.
- Provide support to the sales team with the necessary tools and materials for effective client engagement, particularly within the Bradford and surrounding regions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing, sales support, or trade marketing, ideally within the FMCG sector .
- Strong understanding of retail environments and the factors influencing consumer purchasing decisions at the point of sale.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable liaising with internal teams and external partners in a hybrid work setting.
