Trade Marketing Executive

About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative Trade Marketing Executive to join their dynamic team in Southampton . This role is responsible for developing and executing in-store marketing strategies and promotions to drive brand awareness and sales at the retail level for their FMCG products. You will work closely with the sales team and key retail partners to ensure effective execution of trade plans and optimize product visibility on shelves. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, creative individual with a keen understanding of the retail environment and a passion for driving brand performance at the point of sale.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective in-store marketing plans and promotional activities.
• Collaborate with sales teams and retail partners to execute trade marketing strategies.
• Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth in retail channels.
• Manage the production and distribution of point-of-sale materials.
• Monitor competitor activities and promotional strategies in the retail environment.
• Ensure brand consistency and optimal product placement within retail stores.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in trade marketing, brand management, or a related role within the FMCG sector .
• Strong understanding of the retail landscape and shopper behavior.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
