Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the assembly of mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and finished products.
• Learn to install and connect machinery and equipment according to specifications.
• Participate in routine maintenance and repair tasks on mechanical systems.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals.
• Ensure work is carried out to high standards of quality and safety.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above, including Maths and a Science subject.
• A strong interest in mechanical engineering and practical, hands-on tasks.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and follow instructions accurately.
• Willingness to undertake further training and study.
