About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop road networks, intersections, and traffic control systems to optimize traffic flow and safety.
• Conduct traffic impact assessments and develop mitigation strategies for new developments.
• Plan and design pedestrian and cycle infrastructure, promoting active travel and reducing reliance on private vehicles.
• Integrate public transportation systems into urban planning and design solutions.
• Utilize traffic modeling software to simulate network performance and evaluate design options.
• Collaborate with urban planners, architects, and local authorities to ensure seamless integration of transportation infrastructure within the urban fabric.

Requirements

• Degree in Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in transportation planning and design.
• Proficiency in traffic analysis and modeling software such as PTV Vissim, CUBE, or similar.
• Strong understanding of traffic engineering principles, road safety standards, and sustainable transport modes.
• Experience in public consultation and stakeholder engagement is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
