Treasury Analyst

About the Role

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Treasury Analyst to join their finance department in Nottingham . This hybrid role is essential for managing the company's liquidity, cash flow, and financial risk exposures. You will be involved in cash forecasting, investment management, debt management, and ensuring the company has adequate funding to meet its obligations. This position requires a strong analytical aptitude and the ability to collaborate effectively within a hybrid work structure, blending remote analysis with office-based strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing cash management strategies to optimize liquidity.
• Prepare accurate daily and long-term cash flow forecasts.
• Monitor and manage the company's banking relationships and transactional activity.
• Support the management of financial investments and debt instruments.
• Analyze and report on foreign exchange exposures and implement hedging strategies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with treasury policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in corporate treasury, banking, or financial analysis.
• Solid understanding of cash management, financial markets, and risk management principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with treasury management systems (TMS) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
