UI/UX Designer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join their innovative product development team in Manchester . You will be responsible for designing intuitive and engaging user interfaces and seamless user experiences for our digital products. This role requires a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate user needs and business requirements into elegant, functional, and aesthetically pleasing designs that enhance user satisfaction and drive product success. Key Responsibilities

• Design user interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring a consistent and intuitive user experience.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and developers throughout the design and development lifecycle.
• Advocate for the user, ensuring that design solutions meet user needs and business objectives.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, best practices, and technologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and deliverables.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
• Experience conducting usability testing and analyzing user feedback.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale.
• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
